Whether you are considering therapy for the first time or have previously worked with a therapist, it is most important that your relationship with your therapist feel like the "right fit"

 My aim is for you to feel relaxed and safe as we tackle your concerns together.  When you visit my office, you will be greeted by my canine assistant, Lucy.  Lucy has an innate ability to welcome you and to provide a comforting presence during our sessions.

 In order to successfully address your concerns, it is essential that you express yourself fully and honestly during our sessions.  That can be a painful process but you will not be alone.  With compassion, empathy, acceptance, and a little laughter I will help you heal and move forward.  Depending on the issue you wish to resolve, I will formulate a specialized treatment plan for you.  EMDR therapy is one approach I use to treat clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, post-traumatic stress, and many other concerns.
